Tandem Softswitch:

Sl-CSE is a tandem Softswitch that delivers quality voice services through existing legacy systems while considerably reducing the cost of building a geographically distributed network. SL-CSE controls Media Gateways across the state or country, delivering PSTN quality voice over IP between SS7 endpoints.

Media Gateway Controller:

Sl-CSE is a carrier-grade Softswitch that offers a SS7 – SIP signaling gateway and a Media Gateway Controller. Sl-CSE provides a robust, redundant and modular call control solution that bridges legacy SS7 networks and SIP networks. Now service providers can leverage the cost efficient and scalable application and enter new revenue generating opportunities.

Call Diversion:

Calls terminating on the Internet through dial-up connections are routed across existing, congested switches alongside other PSTN calls. Sl-CSE terminates modem calls on its Softswitch and Media Gateways, and diverts them from the PSTN to the IP network. This allows efficient network configuration and introduces port-wholesaling revenue into the service provider’s business. When the ISP is ready to offer IP voice services on this network, Switch Labs’ modular architecture makes it possible quickly and efficiently.

Class 5 Softswitch:

SL-CSE is a feature-rich CLASS 5 Softswitch. The SL-CSE uses the Excel Converged Services Platform (CSP) to provide solutions for Class 5 Central Offices. Sl-CSE boasts an advanced routing architecture to allow legacy users to take full advantage of a VoIP centric network such as making PRI to SIP and SS7 to SIP calls possible. The SL-CSE can also be used to fully interconnect legacy PSTN components such as CAS, SS7 and PRI.
